69% of working parents feel they are now more involved in their children's lives because of more flexible work schedules

Raising a family and creating a harmonious, happy home life plays a huge part in how productive, committed and engaged staff are in the workplace.

Let me help you support these VITAL people who work for you

I work with corporate companies and organisations who employ parents, carers or guardians who are:

  • Just starting their parenting journey or are returning to the workplace after maternity/paternity or adoptive leave.

  • Finding morning and evening times completely chaotic due to a busy home life, leaving them late to the desk and unable to concentrate and work to their full potential

  • Dealing with conflict in the home around things like gaming devices and technology, making them stressed in the workplace

  • Finding it difficult to set and maintain boundaries around work and family expectations, meaning their work suffers as a result

  • Juggling personal experiences such as separation, bereavement, a house move or caring for a sick family member, which make work commitments feel impossible to keep up with

  • Navigating through the toddler years and finding various milestones challenging, like separation anxiety, sleep deprivation, toddler tantrums, toileting, parental preference etc. which knock on to how they feel at the desk

  • Supporting their child who may worry a lot; their anxiety is impacting their daily lives and the way they show up in their company role

  • Looking at ways to support their child whose low self-esteem & confidence impacts their day.

  • Finding it a challenge supporting their teenager through the exam years or managing the tricker behaviours that the teen years bring.

I was delighted to have Aoife as the speaker at the first Ireland/EMEA regional event for our new Caregivers Employee Resource Group.

Aoife spoke so honestly to the parents in the session, providing practical advice and resources that will help them through the realities of parenting while working.

With parents making up such a significant proportion of the workforce, employers cannot afford to neglect prioritising high quality resources for those with children at home.

When workers can see that their employer embraces and supports them both as assets and caregivers, their satisfaction in the workplace
grows exponentially.

 Hi, my name is Aoife

I am a mum of three children, I’m an accredited parent coach and a qualified Social Care Leader having previously worked for over 12 years with the Health Service Executive as part of an Early Intervention Team and children in care.

Since 2013, I have been supporting corporate companies just like yours to empower their working parents and caregivers as they juggle their work and family lives. My aim is to leave employees feeling confident, equipped and able to perform at their best as part of the business they belong to.

I now regularly appear on Irish television and radio talking ‘all things parenting’ and would love to be your in-house parenting expert too.

As a regular on-stage, on radio and on television in Ireland, I am the trusted voice of all things parenting, perfectly positioned to lead and empower your workforce as they balance work and family life.

Aoife’s session on dealing with change [in the family] was so engaging and insightful. She answered so many questions!

Everyone at the session gathered a host of practical tips and ideas to try out immediately.

Why work with Aoife and Parent Support?

Having a breadth of experience in my field of work, I prioritise and nurture developing and ongoing working relationships with my clients to help ensure their workforce and business as a whole are set up to succeed.

I am always adapting to my clients’ needs regardless of whether they’re a global powerhouse brand or a local SME, highlighting the importance of knowing the demographic of their working families, and continually tailoring content based on what is needed most and will have the most impact on the individuals and the business as a whole.

I have now delivered training and support in businesses and working with families directly for over a decade which has allowed me see, hear and feel the real daily struggles and challenges families go through. This in turn has allowed me research proven techniques and approaches that I can bring to your workplace and combine with my genuine care and support to make a significant positive change in the lives of thousands of your employees.

As a speaker, Aoife’s expertise in parenting is truly remarkable. She adeptly addressed all the questions raised by our staff and generously shared valuable resources to support our employees in various aspects of parenting.

Aoife’s deep understanding and knowledge of parenting made the session both engaging and informative.

Her insights have undoubtedly provided our team with invaluable guidance, enhancing our staff’s approach to balancing work and family life.
